 Cody Bauer - Fiddle
Raised in Hendricks County, Indiana, I currently reside in Knoxville, TN. I started playing fiddle at the age of twelve after being inspired by my cousin who also plays fiddle. I fell in love with bluegrass music after attending Bill Monroe’s Beanblossom Festival with my grandpa. Over the past four years, I have played for several local Indiana bands, most notably Shiloh Bluegrass Band & Skyline Grass. My favorite fiddle players include Michael Cleveland, Andy Leftwich, Olivia Smiley, and Mark O’ Conner. I also enjoy studying other genres of music including jazz/swing and celtic. I currently attend a great school, Johnson Bible College. I am double majoring in Special Education and Bible. I'm super excited about playing music with Shadow Ridge this summer.
